ONIONTAKER
describes himself as a “K-Pop stan who enjoys a good debate” and is famous for his no-nonsense approach towards irrational K-Pop fans and in debunking myths.

He is currently a consultant for an executive editor of IGN, the European co-ordinator for Soshified, translator for Pro-Gaming team SlayerS Clan led by the legendary SlayerS_`BoxeR` after being recruited by Korean actress Kim Ga-yeon.

Korean by birth and blood, he entered the international K-Pop scene in 2008 with his first subbed video on YouTube before being becoming a founding member and translator of Ramen Soup Subs. He has worked with various international fan-forums such representing artists such as T-ara and E.via.

After gaining a following on twitter for his accurate translations of unrivalled speed, he began writing a blog that now serves as a place where international K-Pop fans seek information about K-Pop, Korean culture and other more general topics.

A published academic writer in political economy, he turned down an opportunity to write a column for the Huffington Post but has also used his writing in the past to address high-profile figures and groups. He credits his passion for debate to an academic background and refers to his time at the London School of Economics as the most formative time of his life.

Oniontaker values his anonymity above all things.
Except maybe Taeyeon.
